Default Suggestions for rear speakers for a 1999 Accord...

Like the title says, I'm looking to replace the rear, 6X9" rear speakers on my 1999 accord sedan. I currently have a kenwood excelon mini disc head unit. I want to upgrade the speakers to get a better quality sound however, if possible, doing this without installing another amp to run these speakers. I would probably install another amp down the line- summer time cause its too cold out here right now.. Any suggestions are appreciated.. Thanks!!!

any Pioneer 4-way speakers. I have a pair and I love them. Make sure you get the harnesses too.

Do you want speakers that sound better than stock or do you want speakers that sound awesome ? I suggest Boston Accoustic to anyone looking to put new speakers in their car. They are by far the best car speakers I've ever heard. I've had them in my Prelude for 5 years. I've heard them all, from JL to Infinity, and BAs are the best.

thats what my friend has, it bumps pretty good. will make the license plate holder rattle even, lol.

one thing though, you will have to drill new holes for those speakers, so beware, it is a lot of work. you will need new bolts, nuts, washers, and some spacers.

the bolt we used was a #8x1"...
