i think and hope he means to cut the rotor...like shaving it down when the pad wears it out...........You shouldnt have to since the rotor cuts through the pads and keeps them even............

I personally have no agenda against my rotots and see no problem in keeping them uncut when I change my brake pads. Honda doesn't recommend you do it (Helms service manual), and before I started doing my own work my mechanic never did it. Why would you think this? I just leave my rotors be until they either warp or their thickness goes down to nothing.
