Default 98 Accord Engine issues

My 5spd accord has about 174k miles on it. Lately I have noticed that when I accelerate, the engine looses power for a split second and then recovers. It sometimes feels like if I was driving an automatic and the gears were switching, hard. I thought it could be a misfire, but the engine light never comes one. Any ideas?

have you checked the plugs lately, or have you changed the wires or the rotor?

If your low on oil, vtec will hesitate to engage causing that sensation.

Last time I checked the oil, it was ok. But that was about two weeks ago. I will also look into new plugs, wires and maybe a rotor. Let's see how that works out.
