Its normal then... you have rear disc brakes. I have a 94 EX with rear discs and that grabs differently than my brother's old 93 LX with had rear drums.

My wheel wobbles when braking hard too.

I have an 04 LX, and the brakes grab a little at first but when I am braking hard, the brakes go limp, and don't really do anything. I basically can't stand on my brakes if I needed to. I've taken it in twice to get the ABS check out and the dealer says its fine, but brakes shouldnt do that.

ok if you want to solve the problem just get Brembo X-drilled/slotted rotors and pads ,man what a diffrence they make little noise when you brake but they are great well spent $160 shipped i love them ,i don't know why since honda have so much problems with the brake don't put them out of factory with that kind of rotors and pads they are great

The cross drilled and slotted rotors you see aren't real Brembos. They are drilled and slotted by third party vendors and are structurally not so sound. Brembo does make cross drilled rotors but they are VERY expensive.

They are made from Brembo blanks. Read the whole thread and you will see my questions and the response from the vendor. The rotors may or may not crack eventually, I personally don't want the risk and hence didn't make a purchase. If I wanted drilled rotors, which in reality do nothing, I would spend the $2500 and get the real deal. This issue of drilled vs blanks has been discussed tons of times.

Just to clarify a little... pads and tires have more to do with stopping power than rotors.
