Default Tints

Is there a spray or liquid available to take off the tints easier and not mess up the rear defogger strips? If so, where can I get it? I'm planning to retint my whole car but want to make sure the lines aren't going to get messed up..

I live in NJ..What place would ya recommend to get them done at?

Thanks!

I know- I've gotten tickets for them before but I'm not taking them off for nothing.. Im so used to them that I can't drive without them.. NJ laws dont make any sense.. You can spray paint the back 3 windows but can't have the front 2 tinted..WTF is that about? Now that you dont have to inspect cars for 2 years its better..

get a spray bottle, put soap and water in it or Ammonia as told by someone....( Ammonia will stink )....Just gently start peeling it off while spaying that stuff between window and tint....What I would do though is just put tint over the rear one and peel off the front and rear sides.

BE VERY CAREFUL when removing the old tint. Its very easy to mess up the defogger lines.

I kinda figured that so I was considering paying this place to do it and if they get messed up, then they pay for it to get fixed... They had quoted me around $200 to peel all five windows and put news one back on.. I think I'm gonna go there..

that price includes them putting new tint on after that.. I usually pay $150 to tint the whole care so it would be around $50-75 to remove it... I think its pretty good.. Im still gonna look around tho...
