The garage won...the casualty...my driver side mirror. The housing (the part that folds in and out to get into tight spaces, which I had neglected to do) is still intact. The mirror on its mount popped out.

I thought I could pry off the backing, but the mirror was glued to the backing and cracked.

So, I called Honda and they said the part is not in stock but is 22.14....my question is how the heck do I install the darn thing?

Well, first you take off the plastic sail panel in the front corner of your side window. It'll just pry off. Then you'll see the bolts and wires you need to take off to remove your mirror....then from there it's disassembly and reassembly

 

98CoupeV6..... lol i see you post on like everything that has to do with an accord.... have you taken your car apart piece by piece? or have you done just about everything to your car that could possibly be done?

 

Okay thanks...the mirror is already out though, which is why reassembly isn't so easy for me to conceptualize. So I pry out the corner of the housing and go from there.

Thank god the mirror is cheap (22.14).
