Hi,

Just bought my first accord its an '01 EX manual tranny, with the 4 cyl vtec ulev engine. Right now everything is stock :cry: but am lookin to make some changes maybe a Intake, exhaust, Headlights and tail lights, usual stuff. Any other suggestions? Going to be my new little toy. Anyway just thought id say hi.

 

Welcome to the board, got any pics? Is it a coupe or sedan? I suggest you check out honduh.com as well, theres lots of people with 6th gens over there.

 

I dont have any pics yet i just moved and the camara is packed somewhere, It is a Black coupe

welcome! watever u do dont change the tail lights and also check out HONDUH.com like 2kaccord said cuz u'll get more straight answers and alot more ppl know about 6th gen accord like urs. So i recommend u going there, since im posting there all the time and just ocasionally here.

 

welcome to the boards.... for headlights, go black housing... lower ur car and 18 inch rims, and ur set!! btw, use the search button..it'll come in helpful

 

aem V2 intake, dc headers, greddy exhaust, like darkside said, black housing headlights, lower the car (springs and shocks), 17's or 18's (go forged for light weight) and u'll be str8..pick up a box of gummy bears along the way, couldn't hurt :-\

 

welcome. stick with stock taillights, and get some blackhousings. lower on 17-18s, front strut bar, and TL-S rear sway. as for engine if you want some serious gains go turbo, bolt ons will not yield you that much hp.(considering how much you pay for the boltons) you'll get more bang for your buck with boost. there are a bunch of boosted guys over on honduh.com and I think there are a couple that lurk around here so you can ask them. also use the search button to research about the bolt ons, and boost.

don't get those projectors, the only projectors you should consider are the TYC headlights. every other projector produces crappy light output. as for the tails, the altezza tails are really gay, and the TYC tails are not that much better. why don't you smoke your tails with spray tint if you want to change up your tails? as for the rims, they look alright.
