Default 2000 accord question

dont know if this has ever been asked but...

if i buy a guage cluster, say this one ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33675 ) ....would the mileage still be the same on my car or from the one i bought it from?

And any reccomendations on where i should buy a new window regulator for my front windows?

The mileage will be the same 50855 as soon as you plug it in your car you might be able to just swap out the odometer part with your old one but not too sure look on the back of your gauge cluster to see if the odometer part screws out as far as window regulators check out www.ahmotor.com www manhonda.com hope this helps.

the mileage is stored on the cluster so buy used cluster, it will have watever miles on it when plugged in so therefore ur current mileage wont show up on the new or use cluster. ull need to go to a honda dealership and let them configure it, if u want ur old mileage transfered to the used cluster u planning to buy.

I thought it was the other way around, I thought the 6th gens stored the milage in the ecu, and it didnt matter what cluster you put in???

It's stored in the cluster. I know some guys who swapped clustered and from what I remember Honda just printed the old mileage somewhere on the car or something to that effect to at least be able to calculate the true mileage.

well that sucks. would make more sense if it was stored on the cpu or anything that u cant erase or remove. so when ur car hit whatever miles and u wanna sell u just find a cluster with lower miles mmm bad.

You can't reset the cluster.
The guy with 1-mil miles on his Accord was on cluster no. 2 and he had to start at 0 from 300k again.

Does look like my 66k Accord could now read 50k though
