In the world of modding your car, use my theory to avoid such mishaps...

retarded friends do retarded things...

the retarded things will influence a naive friend

a naive friend will do the same retarded thing...

the next naive friend will become an ignorant driver that make all the Honda enthusiasts look bad.

...the evolution of automobile retardation. This ofcourse will eventually weed out all the altezza fanboys because they're usually the ones on the news that get themselves killed in accidents from doing stupid shit.

The red marks start just after 6000, but the actual limit I believe is around 6800. I'll check the next time I go somewhere.

Also from sitting in the passenger seat, the needle sometimes looks like it's farther to the right than it actually is.

park or neutral.

its bad but it wont blow up the motor if you do it a few times. if he does it continuously say good bye to his valvetrain.

Revving your car high in P or N is very dangerous for it because it is not made to rev that high without the resistance provided by gears...I saw a kid throw a piston that way. Just don't do stupid shit and your car will last.

my old sohc 2.2 before my h22a would go to 6800 its lame to be sitting in nuetral and reving, if he was taking it to 6800 then you should of heard it bouncing off the rev limiter, that ever happens even when your driving then don't push it so hard next time. And I'm guessing your buddy has a tin can sound with a coffee can exhaust tip on his muffler and everyone was pulgging there ears ...yelling Idiot!!

Honda's have a conservative, soft fuel cut. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I don't see the point though, it's not like it makes any power up there.
