Default Problems with Glow Gauges install

Hi Guys,

I have the following problem. If I install the Glow Gauges, the Needles hang. If everything has already tried. To me was said sometimes I should apply the fork method. However, this has also not functioned. If there is another possibility the Needles no more in the Glow Gauges hang. Or the Needles farther pull out? But how?

huh???......maybe im retared today but I really didnt comprehend your problem.

When you install the gauges the needles dont move?

Maybe the little circle is to small. Might have to cut it out a bit wider.

And... after wards since you might have a little bit of a hole that the stock back lights can shine through, take a piece of electrical tape, cut it in a small square that will cover the hole, punch a little hole in the tape that the needle can stick through, and be patient as the tape will conform around the needles "pin" over time and will move freely. But wont nesassarily be perfectly smooth at first.

The gauges need to sit flat or else they will stick.

My indiglo gauges always stuck...I took the cluster apart 3 times...reglued, sanded, cut, tried everything, it seemed like one gauge always stuck if they all didn't. That's why I replaced them with 01-02 Couper V6 metallic faced gauges

Hi Guys,

thank you very much!Is there no other possibility the Needles to begin? Because the discs are too strong. Can I cut the Glow Gauges simply so?

You should be able to squeeze the guages over the needles. I didn't move them myself, mine fit over them. If you do, move them with care. As for any light shining from the stock gagues, simply remove the associated cluter bulbs (backlighting).

Which if I'm not wrong requires you to disassemble the cluster, and you will probably break the clips that hold the cluster together if you arn't careful so... I've taken two apart and they seem to have a little bit of factory adhesive... So just be careful with that part.
Actually I guess it depends on if you take the stock faces off....
I'm gonna stop while I'm ahead.
