Ive got a 96 accord that im shaving the trunk lid on. When i shave it, im shaving the trunk lenses that are on it but in doing so i wont have reverse lights and i was wondering if i were to get altezzas for a 94-95 accord where the reverse lights and directionals are in the one lense, if they would fit in my car. they appear to be the same size by looking at pictures but if anybody has any clue on actual fitment please let me know-thanks

 

Put a 94 or 95 trunk lid and tail lights on it. Altezzas = :nono:

well what i need to know is if the 94-95 taillight will fit where my taillight is now. the 94-95 doesnt have the trunk lenses so they have the directionals and reverse lights in the one taillight. mine has the trunk lenses so the reverse lights are in the trunk lid but when i shave those lenses i wont have trunk lights so i was going to buy carbon fiber housing taillights for mine from a 94-95 after i shave the trunk so i have reverse lights and directionals still. So the main question is, will carbon fiber housing taillights from a 94-95 fit a 96

 

no they won't fit. the are the same shape and look very similar but the location of the bolts on the back don't match up. i'm sure you could secure them in there some how but it won't bolt right up.
