Just wanted to give all of you a headsup. Streestyler.com will not admit to stealing my picture and using it on their website. They claim that customers send in their pictures for use on their website, well I didn't even buy my lip from them, yet they are using my picture for their advertisement. I have IM'ed them about it, and I know that I have no copyright on my picture, and that is my mistake. But any reputable company would admit to their fault. NOPE. Instead they turn around and accuse me of lying. They receive a big thumbsdown from me.

i hate the fawking web site i ordered a lip and it took about 2 months to get here. Never doing business with then again. Did they take your pic of there website?

 

You need to check with "Sounddomain" and see what their policies are. By signing on with them, you may have allowed them to use the pics as they please. On the other hand, the lip mfr. may have used the photo without permission from "Sounddomain". If so, then they will have to take it down.

 

Thats pretty :ghey: of them to do that to you. They should be sponsoring parts if your gonna be on their website.

 

You dont need it copy righted. Its your picture being used without your permission.

 

^^^^^........yup.......I'd kick up a fuss.....an overseas site used pictures of my VW bus with a picture of my custom built exhaust as one that they bent and put on.....so I know the feeling..........my mate who built the exhaust filed charges.......don't think he'll get anything, but it's the principal.............hope it works out for you

 

A quick look at their policy confirms what I was thinking. If Sounddomain did not give permission to Streetstyler, it would be considered stolen. If sounddomain has an agreement with them to use it you're out of luck, because you signing up with SD them gives them full rights to use your posted mat'l as they wish.

SS should at least give you an explanation, take the pic down and replace it with another, to be cool about it.

thats what happened to my uncle. they took a picture of his backyard from another neighbor's property and his picture of the backyard was posted on the cover of a magazine.
