Default accord 2004 and alarm remote question

hello,

i'm new here, and i tried searching for the same topic. i hope it's not too big of a stupid question.

when i arm my accord 2004, i press the button twice to make a beep. sometimes it's a soft beep, sometimes it's a loud beep. it's very inconsistent. how does this happen? is something wrong with the alarm speaker? i dont know much about cars, and i just thought it's kinda weird. thanks in advance.

True but I wouldn't be worrying too much. Alarm still works.

i think it's better for you to talk to the dealership service department....if they say it's ok, then you have their word. if anything happens, they're responsible for it unless you didn't lock the door before you leave the car....

There is no alarm speaker. The sound goes through the horn.
There have been numerous problems with 7th gen's horns acting up and then not working at all.
