Hey guys,

The other day I was driving along and it seemed like my car bogged down and lost HP. I was going the same speed but it seemed like the car had no getup, I punched the gas and went nowhere; actually I went really slow nowhere. I believe I am running on only two cylinders (I have a 4 cyl. vtec 95 auto accord). I have no engine lights or anything of that type, also I am having a hard time hearing the vtec kick in, or maybe it’s not kicking in due to only 2 cylinder power band. I am planning on going out of town this weekend and was wondering if driving on only two cylinders is harmful to the engine. Assuming that the car is running on only two cylinders. Any help is appreciated greatly. I like to get information here before I go to a mechanic.
