Default need help with 6th gen reverse glow gauges

i saw some of the 6th gen accord gauges mods were successful but mine didn't go well. i got the parts from procarparts.com and i went to 2 installers, they both told me the faces were too thick and the centers were too small so the needles won't run smoothly. the 2nd installer even cut out the center edge of the tachometer face, which was a really bad job. i finally got my money back for both parts and labor cuz they didn't tell me anything before they did the cut, that thing looked extremely crappy...i don't know if it's just the parts was bad or it wasn't just me....if you have the same parts installed please share your experience. thanks a million!

I bought a similar set off of ebay, they went on ok, but they were very thick and at times my speedo would stick. It became such an annoyance thay I got rid of them after 7 months. IMO working gauges are better than fancy ones. Although I have seen some nice indiglo installs, they didnt really work well for me.

I've had mine on for almost 3 years, so I'll give you some tips...

-Since the hole in the gauges are too small, you're gonna have to cut it a little wider with a hobby knife.
-I know the wires are a little too thick, so you should sand the botton part of the clear plastic cover so that the wires will fit through.
-Use double side tape to stick the gauges on, fixes all the "needles get stuck on my gauges" problem.

*NOTE* Make sure you do NOT mess with the needles anymore than necessary. Doing so will throw the calibrations off, thus you will need new ones. EXPENSIVE
