I know a chip and exaust on Audi 1.8's and above or WRX's can give dramatic gains but on N/A Honda's never heard of anything.

that's because it increases the boost from the turbo on those engines.

Some cars respond better to chips than others, late model, NA cars don't gain much other than a placebo affect. Turbo engines can be chipped to gain power by raising boost, but often at the cost of reliability.

i dont have b4 and after sheets but you do the math
get a V-afc and redo your air/fuel ratio you'll get HP gains , right?
also move your VTEC around, you'll also have gains, correct?
lastly, shifting points, rev limiters and some other electronic changes, yeild gains as well, right?
now do the math, HP gains right?

honestly i wish i had the sheets to prove my comment however all i have is the preformance gains of my car on the street vs. other cars and drivers (street racings isnt valid for measurement i know). HP gaiins are just that HP gains my comment might have been overly broad however gains were gained and i dont mean CIA gains were you cant really feel them or BUTT-O-METER gains either.

In most F/I cars chipping yeilds larger gains mainly because of the turbo. upgrading shift points, rev limits, boost settings and so on are the main uses of the chip wheither N/A or F/I but gains none the less

There are too many chips out there that do nothing, other than lighten your wallet a few hundred bucks. Without a dyno plot you've got a placebo mod IMHO. Enjoy it...

like everything on the market you can spend your money and find out or listen to others that have or follow the crowd of those who say so.. i have had 2 different chips in my car outside of the stock ecu and one did next to nothing and the other (which i still using) did alot so knock me if you like or dont the choice is yours.
