If indeed you DON'T have instructions, be sure to learn from me and bend your A/C hose a little so that it doesn't come in contact at all with the CAI...

you use one of the rubber tubes to put around the A/C hose.

LOL!!! See, now it just gets funnier! I got my CAI from somebody I met here. He just sent it to me free with no instructions. Told me the install was simple and easy, so.... Never mentioned anything about the A/C hose. I say it's funny now because this is the second piece of advice that I've gotten on this and it's actually different from what I was told.

So now I have...
1. Bend the A/C line a little to avoid contact
2. Use some rubber tube to put around the a/c hose (I never got this tube)

Ahh well... I guess the main point is, don't let the CAI come in contact with that hose. Over time you'll have a problem with your freon leakin' out...

I'm no expert of course. Just sharin' the experience.

so what about that thing that sticks out on the aem cai? it is closer to the throttle than it is to the air filter outside the engine bay. me and my friends put one of the rubber tubes on it and connected it to something on the engine. was this correct, or did we F up?
