Don't you guys ever figure out your MPG by refilling your tank and doing the arithmetic? I do it every single time I get gas.

I probably should, but I always forget to push the button to clear the mileage. It's probably somewhere around 700 right now lol

well it has 95k on it, and its mostly backroad driving, not a lot of highway, i'm probably at around 2/3, 4/5 of a tank left and i'm at 80 miles on it so far...all backroad, haven't checked the sparkplugs

Check plugs and maybe o2 sensor. I get at least 350 mpg thats doing 50/50 backroads and highway driving. You should get at least 300 in backroads unless you drive like a complete maniac.

Yeah I have 155k and a couple months ago got 30MPG coming from NYC to Syracuse....I think it was around 320 miles. You need to check the little things on your car dude...tire pressure, spark plugs...if there's no CEL it has to be something little, or you really don't know how to drive your car correctly.

I don't care about mpg, I just care how many miles I can get on one tank.

i had really bad gas milage recentlly about 140 mpg on a 2000 accord ex 4cyl. got it fixed by changing out the pcv valve which is like 2 bucks at autozone because it was bad, i also changed out the plugs im now using bosch platinum 4+ and new wires and some fuel injector cleaner. just doing that has helped out my gas milage alot. i changed it at half tank and had about 70 miles to half tank a quarter of a tank later im at 165 miles. so about 80 miles to a 1/4 tank or 80 times 4 = 320 miles to a tank in city stop and go driving. so if you havent gotten a tune up i would reccomend doing it.

It's basically the same thing. mpg x how many gallons your tank can hold = how many miles you can get on one tank
