damn, too late. don't throw out the plug you cut off in case you decide to sell the car and don't want to leave your new speakers in it. it's better to just buy some quick connects and put them on the end of the wires.

you should have two wires on each side where you cut the plugs off. on the right you should have a brown wire with a white stripe and a red wire with a yellow stripe, one the left you should have a grey wire with a white stripe and a blue wire with a yellow stripe. the wires with the yellow stripes are your positives, hook them to the speaker wires without a stripe. hook the remaining wires to the wires with a stripe.

sorry if thats confusing, but you should have the following:
two wires coming from your right speaker, one with a stripe one without, the one without a stripe should be hooked to the red/yellow wire, the wire with a stripe should be hooked to the brown/white wire.
on the left you should have the same except the blue/yellow wire should be hooked to the one without a stripe, and the wire with a stripe should be hooked to the grey/white wire. make sure you do something with them, tape them or something until you can get some connectors

just look for the 2 metal tabs and attach the stripped wire to that.

you've already cut the harness so you don't need them now, but you can get them from any parts place, walmart, radio shack if you decide to replace your fronts.
