ok, i was wondering.. how do these things actually work.. i'm talking about the air-ride AIRstrut.. i just dont know how they work under the hood.. do they even use a compressor (the airride website is very shady when it comes to this)

pump air in = go up
let air out = go down

but suposedly you have to go under the hood everytime you wanna do this.. does anyone know if you dont have to do that? (i've never actually seen the airstrut in person)

Ive seen one in person and the guy was moving his car up and down trying to act like he had hydraulics. He was driving the car while doing this. From what i know, no you do not have to be under the hood. and yes it uses a compressor. dont hold me to this though because i am not 100% on it.

Considering how expensive they are, I'm curious what advantage they would have over adjustable coilovers.

how about alignment issues, you'll need a set of new tires every two months

i would mostly be using it for the rear tires when i get my h22 swap with turbo to help level the car when i have people in the back seat

if you get any type of air suspension you'll be adding a lot of weight to the car and your handling will suffer

Are you running bigger rims/tires, and potentially lowered?
