just curious
I've seen about 100 4th gen accords this weekend and all but 4 (counting mine) were 4 doors. Were there not nearly as many coupes made? or are there just a ton of sedans here? I looked for numbers but to no avail.
i think that is the usual case with almost every car no matter if is honda or bmw. more sedans than coupe, very hard to see a 92 coupe or any integra sedan heh i wish my car was a coupe, i still dont get why is the coupe and sendan same size just one has 2 xtra doors. more sedan cause accord is more of a family car than sport i guess.
I'm a single guy (live by myself) and own a sedan. I could have bought the same year accord, same price, in a coupe version. But I can't figure out why you'd want to. Basically it's the same car- not faster, not cheaper, not better mileage. The only difference is that it's missing two doors. I use the rear doors to load equipment (guitars) and groceries etc. I think it would annoy me and hurt my back to grab everything out from behind the driver's seat.
I guess some people might think the coupe looks more sporty, but I've seen plenty of BMWs with 4 doors that look more sporty than an Accord coupe.
That's the 4,5,and 6G. On the new Accords, the coupes actually do look different and IMO, much better with the coupe rear end. And if I buy a new one, I'll definately go with the coupe unless they restyle the sedan rear.

I like my 2 door, wouldn't have it any other way. I just thought it was odd that there are so many 4 doors and so few coupes, whereas with civics, which i take to be family cars also, seem to have a closer number of each, I see civic sedans coupes and hatches everyday, but I rarely see another accord coupe. Maybe that's why I like mine so much.
