Any one have extra Clear Reflectors?
I plan to do DIY: Black Housing on my 02 Accord this this week end, and I came across this question.
''Don't you have to have a reflection somewhere on your car?''
So, I remember some people had clear reflectors, but I only have the stock orange reflectors, which i really don't want to use.
Does anyone have extra sets of clear reflectors they can live with out?
Make a reasonable offer please. Thanks!
PM me please.

well as far as the reflectors go just leave them out most people do but when I black house my headlights Im going to leave the corner reflector in and take the orange strip out. i hate to get pulled over for not having a refletor in so Im going to play it safe but if your not into the orange thing then leave it out.
you can have anything you want in front as long ur turning signal turns yellow/amber n front it doesnt matter, at least here in nyc doesnt matter. yellow bulb looks so good in my eu clear corner and bumper, bright as hell. i know anything other than yellow/amber "bulb" in front = a pullover

You think cops would pull you over for having one of these?

i've got a clear strip at the bottom of my DIY 6th gen black housings....i had a set of aftermarket black housings that got damaged when some dude hit my car, so i did my stock lights in black and pulled the clear strip out of the aftermarkets to put into the stock ones...that's about the only way i know of to get that clear strip tho...i didn't wanna go with no strip...i painted that turn signal section black too tho...i hate when people leave that part chrome...it looks stupid...the whole housing is black, the turn signal bulb is still amber but during the day u cant see it when it's not illuminated because it's set so deep into the black housing...good luck with the project...and those silver star bulbs are completely legal...law basically says, the lens or bulb can be any color u want as long as it lights up amber or red....and actually out here u can have any color turn signal's u want except blue, every other color is legal
Thanks yall.
I am gona go with all black.
and I am going to leave the reflective part on with new 194 running light. probably hyper white with chrome covered so it doesn't look all nasty on the white stripe.
I'll post up the reasult when I am done with this project, and probably another DIY on HAN. but I can't do it any time soon cuz of the stupid weather in CO.
