does Engine Restore really work?

Default does Engine Restore really work?

i been reading about that stuff called engine restore. you put it in your oil and bam!!!!!!!!! more compression= regained hp!!! does it really work? my car has 98,000 miles on it

it does help the car run smoother. as for performance it doesn't make a difference. give it a shot, its not bad for your car.

The same principle of how Restore works has been applied to the new oils that are
"recommended" for engines that have 75k+ miles on them. A Honda engine with 98k miles is like a GM or Ford engine with 150k+ miles.

i think its the other way around bud, meaning that honda engines would last longer than ford/gm blocks

I think he got it backwards as well. I would never think it possible for a domestic to make 200,000+

Ahhh but it is possible...in my family there is a 92 Taurus which is approaching 250k miles on it...hasn't crapped out on us yet (knock on wood).

Default Honda's outlast any car!!!

I still see 2nd and 3rd gen hondas driving around.
2nd was made when like 1985? Almost 20 years old!

yeah it's possible to have a cold day in August, it's just not normal.
I got 227,000 plus by the way.... which is considered to be fairly normal for a Honda-Acura.

I tried it, feel different in terms of the engine running SMOOTHER, and calmer. No gains! Help protect/

I put it in my car when I had 168,000 miles. The engine was definately smoother and it idled better. When I got an oil change I poured in another can.
