I've just got my first honda and I'm already want to do an engine swap. The car is a 1990 Accord with an automatic transmission. I want to swap to a JDM engine, but I don't know what engine to go to. I'm not looking for very high HP numbers but I do want a little more kick. I definitly want a DOHC for better gas mileage and flexability. Turbocharged engines are not out of the question. It will be the kid hauller but I didn't say I want to be passed up by Mrs. Soocer Mom in her supersized SUV. Any info or links would be a great help.

My budget is not unlimited but I'll do what it takes to get the parts. I think I can do the install myself. I've done a swap on a 90 240SX to a 94 DOHC 240SX swap in my garage. I've got a few friends that are more that willing to help out that have started a performace shop at there house. www.geefpc.com The owner finished putting a 02 Lighting engine in a Ford Expedition that if you didn't know better you would swear was stock.
