Maint Required Light is on
my maitnence required light is on. I think its becasue all the freon leaked out becasue of a hose leak that i am getting fixed tommorow. could no freon pressure be why? or what are some other common reas0on for the maint required light to be on. the engine runs good and smooth and has no changes in performance. any help? thanks. p.s. this is a 99 accord ex. -mike
Did your car not come with an owner's manual? Or maybe you couldnt find the search button?
And you don't have freon. Freon has been "illegal" for about 10 years, only certain automotive technicians can obtain it. You have Ra-114a refrigerant.
I took my maintenance light bulb out so I dont have to bother with it
