Default H&R Sports

I'm thinking about getting these springs, but about how many finger gaps will I get with (1.5f and 1.2r)? Are they even noticable?

What year Accord?

I have them on my 99 sedan, and I like them. I don't really go by the "finger gap" method, seems a bit arbitrary to me. But I don't have any reason to believe that it didn't give the advertised drop. Back then they used to say it dropped 1.75F, 1.5R, but it's probably right in the middle of the two, I guess I'm just happy with the way it sits. I have had them for nearly 4 years now. When I installed some Koni shocks, I used a lower perch height to lower the front about another .25" to even out the wheel gap since the front fender arch is higher than the rear.

Will people notice? Well it won't look slammed. A lot of people won't notice but if you posted pics here any Accord enthusiast would be able to tell. The Accord has so much wheel gap that sport springs don't really make it look slammed, they just make it look better, like how a lot of more sporty cars come stock.

You can check out my pics, but don't be decieved by how low mine looks due to the front lip and keep in mind that the front is another .25" lower due to the way I installed the shocks: www.cardomain.com/id/jschmid

^^^ :werd: exactly what I was going to say. I have H&R Sports on my 98 Sedan, looks a lot sportier without the "slammed" look.

oops sorry, I guess I typed a bit too fast, its for the 1998 EX sedan. I have a friend who dropped his 1999 toyota camry with H&R sports (1.4f 1.3r) ~I think thats the drop~ and his drop wasn't noticable until he told me. He had about 3 finger gaps all around giving it a sorta raked look... I was wondering would the H&R sports look sorta the same on my car... since the drop is close?

For those of you with H&R Sports, do you recommend a camber kit all around?

I went without any camber kits for a good two years with no problems. Got decent mileage out of my tires, but you could see that the rear inner tread was wearing, tried to prevent with rotation, but it was there. I got a rear SPC kit about a year ago to bring the rear back into spec.

You won't need it for the front most likely.
