Default How much money do I need?

Is 200$ enough to get 4 good speakers and a CD player for my 91 Accord? If that's not enough, how about 250$? Oh and By GOOD speakers and a good CD player, I don't mean what you think is the best on the market. I just want some that will last me and are just overall pretty good for 200$.

doubt it. its possible but cheap shit. the head unit alone (good one, pioneer, clarion ect.) will most likely run about 150 - 350 depending. speakers in front you could find some audiobahn. they so so. for like 100 the rear also. since you have 91 accord the speakers are 6.5 in front and back so it shouldnt be soo expensive. check ebay. make sure they are new and not used.

Thanks man. I'm getting a new job next week too so i'll be able to bring in a little extra cash as well.

I just found these 6.5" speakers on ebay. I've never heard of Metric Audio, are these any good? I'll probably just get some pioneers from WalMart..

lol if you never heard from it ask. since you did. dont buy that shit man. lol go with the pioneer. lol. 40 dollar head unit lol. i had one of those when i was unemployed before that thing jumped so much that it started jumping even before i hit a pot hole. it was bad all i had to do was to run over a simple lil crack and the thing would jump. and not the normal quick jump im talking about jump lose the track and started playign either before or after the song was originally at.. save your money and time. not to mention patience go for something good from the get go.

You'll want to put about 500 into your sound setup. That's my opinion but I'm sure most would agree that if you want something that looks nice, sounds nice and is going to last then you'll be getting what you pay for. Infiniti speakers are a good way to go to that end and the head unit is up to you. Just make sure you take care of the installation yourself since it's easy as fawk and it'll save you monay. Plenty of DIY's out there, just gotta find em. Hope this helps.

How many watts are my stock speakers? On Ebay, you can get 180W Infinitys for 10 or 20 bucks.

BTW, Thanks for all the help!
