Valve Cover paintjob

Got a question...

I want to color in the Vtec Embelm on my valve cover.
I have some satin silver touch up paint and was wondering if I could use that to gently color it in

touch up paint isn't high-temp...so i'd say no

Are the letters on originally silver and are just stained from dirt? If so, just use some high grit sand paper (slightly wet), to get it the silver that you want.
