yesterday i took my car for a aligment, well everything was fix except for one problem, my front driver side wheel needs a camber done, my car was hit n front so thats why only 1 wheel has that problem. the guy said to fix it he would charge me $350, personally i think is a rip off so i send him to hell, a brand new bumper and hood cost that much. the computer shows that is 2.0 negative so the wheel needs the camber done, u cant notice at all, the only thing i notice is when driving if i let go the steering wheel then it will pull to the righ side but thats all. only reason i did the aligement is because i had not done it and i drop my car very low with 17s so i figure i need one.

 

yeah...hardcore rip. My whole 4 wheel alignment only cost $90! Even that was after I had them put my camber kit on! A good anchor bolt type camber kit (Ingalls or SPC) for one side will cost about $60 or $70. Add labor and the cost for an alignment (about $90 or $100 for both) You'll come out to $170 at most!

Tell this guy to screw himself instead of other people.

dude....go to R&S Strauss they will do it for 60 bucks.
350 bucks???? this guy is stupid if hes trying to rip you off that much.

I swear if only mechanics knew about how easy the helms manual is.
They would be out of a job if we all did our own maintenance with that book.
