Help please!

I just got a twin pipe CAI kit - I can see how the short ram section bolts onto the throttle body. I thought the second pipe is used to feed cold air from the fender well up to the engine-bay mounted filter - but I can't see how this fits - I know about removing the stock resonator.

Can anyone help or suggest anything at all?

it goes where the resonator is. you took out part that sits between the splash guard and the battery area right? the part that's inside the bumper?

There is a rubber 'collar' and a silicone collar with the kit - is one of these (or both) used to stop the pipe going into the fender well touching the metal of the hole where the stock resonator box was connected to the air filter box?

Is this lower pipe (shaped like an 'L') meant to point straight down with the short part of the 'L' angled towards the filter?

 

for what kind of gen? u might need to enlarge the hole for the piping thats going down.
if its a 4th gen, i have a tutorial, if need?

 

Not sure which gen - it's a 2000 model year accord coupe. If your tutorial covers that then I would love to see it - any help is appreciated! Thanks.

 

Had a reply from the seller of the CAI kit - apparently the two pipes are held together with a piece of silicone tubing held on with clips so that the filter is placed in the well behind the fender. The whole lot assembled then looks like the AEM CAI.
