And since I would be using the TYC headlights, I should get a kit for H1 bulbs right? Do most HID kits come with hi/low lights or not, and I'm willing to pay a lot for good quality ones, so which ones do you guys think are the best / you've had good results with. Thanks for the replies
I have the 12000k adn they are awesome! You will want whatever your low beam is...some have a hi/low beam but its real expensive and honestly the low beam is defintely bright enough.....

It depends on what color you want, 12000k is purpleish....i think 6000k is white and 8000k is blue...so depends what you want...the conversion kits are easy to install.

it depends on the kit that you get. But most kits only replace the low beams unless you get the duel kit which has both. But what do u need hid high beams for??

And anything over 6000k is basically useless imo. Especially when its raining you won't be able to see shiet.

well my kit is a H3 kit, I have H3 low beams/H1 high beams. I have a hella HID conversion kit. You can find any kind you want on ebay, that's where I got mine, and it works great. The light output by an HID is just much more intense than regular bulbs or those cheap high output bulbs. Just doesn't compare.

anything over 6000K is useless (it'll just look "cool") , and you can barely see shit in the wet weather (i.e. rain, snow, etc.) function > fashion

And for the H1 retrofit into the TYCs, you'll need to do a little dremeling to get the bigger HID H1 Bulb to fit in the halogen H1 socket.
