Default Remus Exhaust.

I have a Remus exhaust on my 98 vr6 turbo and love the nice deep tone it emits when im driving.

Most mufflers I have seen and heard have been nothing but firecracker can opening mufflers.
( I havent heard an Apexi WS or magnaflow ).

I've heard an N1 exhaust and a Hayame exhaust on an 01 accord coupe.
Them mufflers there are too loud.
I mean it drowns out your interior even at cruising speed.
With my Remus exhaust even with the turbo you dont hear a loud tone.

I was wondering would I be able to buy another Remus exxhaust and install it on my 02 accord? Reason being would the exhaust tone be the same.
Or will the accord sound more ricey?

vr6 turbo - 6 cylinder turbo'd
accord - 4 cyl. ----- I have a feeling the accord will sound like a lawn mower. any suggestions thanks

That was the first mod I've done to my VW back in 99.
Remus exhaust I guess is more for German cars since they are available for VW, BMW, Benz, etc.......

I bought my muffler from

The remus sounds good on the Accord. Well, I can only assume as I've had it on my car for 6 years now.. or has it been 7 already. (Man, time flies...)

I'm not sure if this link still works. It's an audio file of my exhaust I recorded last year. Should still work.

** edit **

Ooops. Guess I forgot to link the audio file. Genius that I am. Lessee:

Oh, if you don't have a good bass speaker on your computer, you might miss the low-end rumble completely.

Haha, nah, it's hardly audible in the cabin. When I recorded this sound clip, the recorder was about 2 feet away from the exhaust. It's got a low-rumble (good enough to set off sensitive alarms) but it's not "loud and raspy". At higher rpms, the engine noise takes over and the exhaust doesn't get any louder. To me, it sounds like a very "sporty" BMW exhaust. So if you like the way BMW (stock) sound, then imagine it a little louder, and the tone a little lower. More rumble.

And some additional pics.
