I own a 1994 Honda Accord with the F22B2 engine. What I'm trying to find is a good place for parts(dealer kind of pricy). I am presently rebuilding the motor for longevity and looks, but not for speed, I'm giving the car to my 16 yr old daughter and the H22 isn't what I feel she needs just yet(but I still plan on buying and boosting an H22 for a side project for my other 94 Accord). If possible I would like to beef up the internals of the F22B2 such as pistons, rings, rods, bearings and the valve train, along with a better oil pump(last one broke...it turned out to be what was causing my dieseling noise above 2k rpms as it was slowly failing)but no one seems to sell anything but standard OEM parts with the exception of bearings which I found on www.importperformance.net. Isn't the bottom half of the F22B2 the same as the F22B1? So,... can anyone help me out or is the standard setup my only option.
