has using the lowest grade gas in your h22a caused TROUBLE?!
I observed that when i put the lowest grade gasoline into my car with h22a, it chokes (car jerks as if i'm tapping on the brakes) when i drive n accelerate. is this the cause of that? or is it something else? does anyone else have this problem?... my h22a is a JDM spec. please help. Thanks.

un-Touch'd krew
High octane is all I can run in mine but even when the motor was in stock form I never put anything else besides 91.
Oh and don't bother with octane booster either since it will just gum up your valves.

Are you serious??
an H22 is a high compression engine. High Octane gas isn't recommended; its required. Not using it can lead to pre-ignition/knock which can cause major engine damage.
What you are describing is knock, and its basically your engine begging you to stop abusing it.
Why spend the dough for an H22 to just save a couple of bucks at the pump. Low test will not give you the performace the engine is capable of, and it can actually cause damage.
Go to the store, buy some octane booster to bump you up to the octane level you need, then go to the gas station, and top it off with Premium gas. Then prey you didnt do any long term damage.
