If it's the same way on the current crop of Accords/TLs, I can't imagine doing it with every oil change!?!? Sheesh....

I don't know anything about screen or tranny filter. I do know you don't change it every oill change and you don't change oil every 3k miles neither. For regular oil, you change it a every 5k miles for normal condition driving. For synthetic oil, it is a 2x + 3k relationship, which equate to 13 miles. I use synthetic and change at every 8k to 10k. i think it is wise to change tranny fluid at 50k. the fluid is dirty cheap. all i need is to drive a little less and i am cool. what hurts us now is the price of gas. i can't just take off to beaches and Nova to party any more.

Yeah, i do mine every 15K, it maybe its too early, but heck spending 4 qts, cost us like 20ish dollar? Btw, I have tranny cooler on my crap, so that take like .5 more qts. Yep, so thats better than spending thousand for a tranny over haul.
As for manual tranny, I do it like 30mi's.
