Default 6thG eBay strut bars installed w/ pics (upper&lower, 56k OK)

I got the bars in today and installed them. The front upper was like $25 shipped and the lower tie was around $20 shipped.

I haven't driven the car much since I got them installed, but it feels stiffer, as I jerked the car around a little bit. More stiff than stock -- that's for sure.

looks good and for the money how can you go wrong, right?
So why are some strut bars like Neuspeed and DC over $100.00 each? Won't these cheapos do the same thing? I may not go for cheapie springs and shocks, but for a strut bar why pay so much....for a metal bar...correct me if I'm wrong here.

Yeah, I'll buy generic strut bars, but I'd never buy generic shocks or springs or anything else suspension related.

I don't see how that can be stiffer when it just ties the struts together and the stock one has bars that go to the fire wall. Seems that money better spent would be on a TL Type S front bar

Hey Kent, I went the same route and ended up removing the rear lower tie bar.
Its gonna f' up your wheel alignment in the rear.
Trust me i've been dealing with this shit for months.

( I'm sure someone here will post, "ohh thats not going to throw it off )..
Well first hand experience.
It did!.

Once I removed the tie bar it re-aligned the rear wheels.
To bad it wore out the inside part of the rear wheels.

Thanks. I'll watch the alignment and the tire tread.
