Default New member, got problems

Hi, just would like to introduce myself, my name's Gaby and I own a '99 V6 Accord, i bought it a couple of months ago (March) at the dealership with kind of high milage (83k) and now it's been having problems. Every now and then, I would try to start it, and the starter starts but not the engine, as if isn't getting any gas, I think it might be the distributor, but I've never heard of a distributor failing on a relatively new model. I'm about to get it check at the local Honda dealership to see what they come up with, but is there any chance that it might be something else? Thanks.

Do a tune-up and see what happens. It may need one.

Might be the fuel filter. Those need to get changed every 2 years or 24k...which ever comes first.

Do a tune up, 83k on a Honda is low mileage. Mine has 125k. when my brother sold his 93 Accord it had 200k, his Civic had 280k when he sold it and his Integra had 220k when he sold it. Get it fully serviced, you are going to need a timing belt in about 7k miles so you might as well get one now and not have to worry about it.
