why have an ebrake with an auto in the first place?



props with a pretty clean DIY. might come in handy with some people so you never know.

Same thing as standard.
All it does is lock the tranny in one place.
At least with the e-brake you get better support on up hills and down hills, of course when parked....I guess less stress on the tranny

when you put it in park, i believe the only thing not making your car go anywhere is a little metal plate that somehow blocks it from engaging. i dont know exactly how it works. so an e-brake is pretty nice for that respect.

That e-brake is nice to have if your conventional brake system fails. At least you have something to stop with.

Wow that looks really good. Kinda takes away that penis look from this AT shifter. I'm still glad I own a manual though

Routine use of the parking brake when parking also adjusts the rear brakes. Helps even out brake wear, and performance and is recommended for disc brakes.

The only exception is if you just beat the snot out of your brakes. having the hot pads pressed up against the hot rotors allows for uneven cooling, possible mild warping.
