its normal.. it says it can run up to 15 mins after shut off according to the owners manual.

my 3rd gen (87 lxi) does that, sometimes the fan even comes on after the car has been sitting in the sun for 5 minutes after powered down. yep 15 minutes

SONY, i had the rad replaced on mine too but it still does it..... maybe a relay or something didn't get hooked up properly?
