My SRS light came on the other day. I followed the steps to clear the SRS memory. The light went out, but after two restarts its back on. I guess there is a fault somewhere.

How do I retreive the SRS codes to get an idea of what part of the SRS system might be trouble?

Have you done any work on your car lately? Removed your seats? One of the SRS harnesses may be unplugged. I would guess you'd need an OBDII reader to get the codes. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

 

No, the only thing I have done to the car was put in a new stereo head, but that was about a month before getting the SRS light, so I doubt its related.
