Default Best wax to buy?

Just wanted everyones opinion on what kinda wax they use. I used turtle wax about 15-20 washes ago, and even tho it suppose to last 50 washes its wearing off and needs to be re-applied. So yeah, im looking to throw some more on, and need to know which ones last long, and make my car twinkle n glisen.

well, best is a subjective term. ya know, different strokes for different folks. But for me, the combination of Vanilla Moose Hand glaze topped off with some S100 does the trick. The S100 can be had at you local Harley Davidson shop for like $15 and the Vanilla Moose can be had for like $12 at www.clearkote.com

NXT bottle, S100 paste, and Meguiars #26 Liquid Wax are the three waxes I could not do without.

I like Turtle Wax's Color Cure that sells for around 10, and their new Ultra Shine is impressive too when I used that one also.

I use Meguiar's Cleaner Wax (bottle), and it works awesome. In between washes I also use Meguiar's Detailing Mist and it helps maintain the glossy shine.

You're so smart!

But #16 paste > S100 in durability. And the shine is the same. Bit more difficult to use, but it's worth it.

If you really want to buy something good: go to autogeek.net and get Wolfgang.

Otherwise: Vanilla Moose + #16 would be your best bet. Or VM + Poorboys EX-P. Very wet. Or you could try Meguiars #9 SMR and then #16 if you can find them locally. I've wrote up a bit on many of these things in the appearence section (just search my name in that forum!)

Edit: Eagle One Wax As You Dry is awesome between regular waxes, toooo.
