New Day time running lights-Pictures
Another cheap DIY mod (that some aren't fond of) but this one isn't very hard, and was completed in a matter of hours.

I was very embarassed carrying these through walmart with me
since I think they are really ugly to put outside the vehicle. Luckily they weren't going to be vissible on my car. I didn't use the wiring from the lights, for it doesn't provide an accesory part on the switch for an ignition cut off source. Nor does it have a relay. I used the wiring from my hella fog lights (which are wired to my old focuz fog light wires.) I recomend doing your own wiring set up.
Heres the bracket I made. I cut the screws down. Its two nuts securing the light bracket at the level I want it at. I drilled the hole smaller then the screw, so that the screw would thread it and be more secure.
Final project. My mom drove it around the block for me so I could see it from afar. It's pretty noticalbe from afar, but not overly bright.
Only thing not complete is the second relay, which turns the lights off when my headlights turn on. I didnt have time to go pick up a relay today.
Total cost: 22 bucks and some change
Time: 3 hours, but i had to run to lowes a few times because I needed the bolts, and tome T-taps
