I bought this intake off ebay...

I was kinda hesitant to get it but what caught my eye the most was the color of the air filter

Im going to install it today but I want to ask if anyone has any experience with these intakes off of ebay.

Ill post pics tonight...Hopefully the shit wont break or get sucked into my TB.

 

that filter sucks ass unless it is a blitz filter which i doubt it is. it doesn't really filter much air i'd rather buy a k&n

 

Never dealt with ebay intakes but it shouldn't be to hard. When you get the chance, through that filte away and get a K&N filter.

 

Yeah...get a K&N filter...it should work allright.

 

It is amazing how these ebay sellers are charging two or three times the normal shipping cost. I guess that is how they hide the cost and advertise the product for less.

 

Well, I didnt mind throwing away 30 bucks just wanted to see how it sounded and worked.

MY Car sounds so Ricey that I dont even feel like driving it.
Im changing that shit when I get home today.

Took me 5 minutes to install. Its so ****en loud. Under normal acceleration its fine but, once I press the pedal harder this loud sort of high pitched tone comes out and thats it. Honestly, I do feel a bit more torque in my car...A little bit,

Im just going to get an AEM one. Hopefully it doesnt sound like that. Does it?

This accord is my hoopty to drive around in etc......
My real bitch is my 98 gti vr6 turbo. My brother and I both purchased it and modified it over the years............

 

AEM CAI if you're gonna get a REAL intake.

 

stay stock unless u want to wake up ur neighboor, the gain u get from ebay is not even worth $5. lol coming off already.
