Default 2000 V6 EX - Headers

Hi Guys,

What would be the advantages on changing the headers on my 2000 V6 EX Accord? Would I gain a good amount of hp?

Secondly, does anyone have any brand of headers they could recommend and know an approximate price for parts/installation? OR even better, is there somewhere in the san gabriel, ca area that people would recommend?

I'm thinking about changing the headers, but don't really know too much about them. I'd like to find out if its worth it. Thanks.

if it was a 4 banger it would of cost you cheaper to install cuz they are right there infront of you. Pluse headers will give you some more torque that you will feel but don't expect them to give you like 20 hp pluse the other thing is that having just headers and the stock exust system specialy on the new accords that are LEV have a very concentraded cat convertor. so what i would recomment you to do is get your exust system done first than get the headers. get a high flow cat convertor and a nice HKS or EVO2 full cat back system than get some DC sports headers so that you will be getting most of the power out of the headers that youa are buying you know. AIM me if you have any questions. by the way if you live in LA area let me know i can hook you up with exsust system i have a shop down there.

since you have a V-6 I would go for Comptech some guys on the TL forums claim some serious gains but they are pricey but worth it
