well the intersection is a HUGE hub of our town. The main road is like 12 lanes wide, and then there are shopping center and restaurant exits/entrances everywhere...its basically a big gigantic cluster**** of cars. Add that to the fact that people routinely do dumb shit and make sudden lane changes cause they're lost...recipe for disaster.

The number of non-fatal accidents (fender benders n such) there are like astronomical. I couldn't even begin to count them. Not even an 1/8th of a mile from my neighborhood either.

The intersection that I used to live at had an accident on a NEARLY DAILY basis... There were 4 fatal accidents at the SAME intersection that year... 2 peds, 1 cyclist, and 1 VERY mangled car owner. The idiot city STILL hasn't attempted to rectifiy the strange light timing that causes problems at that intersection...
//Very glad to have moved away from there.

Don't worry, that truck driver will be back on the road in no-time. That's the great thing about the unions. :screwy:

What's sad is there is at least a few fatal accidents at this intersection every year. Very sad.
