Default stock stereo removal

Ok,I looked in my Haynes manual for this and they said nothnig about the LX version with that damn equalizer,So if any body can let me know how to remove it tat would be super

Nice attachment. If you read it good it says to go from under the ashtray to take out the 8mm screws. I NEVER do it that way. If you read it good it says it's the fastest way but it's not. It says with special tools you can get it from the back but all you need is a wobbley 8mm and a long extension. Pulling out the center console is overkill. I can pull out a radio from this model in 2-3 minutes. Just my two cents but I can't seee why they recommend against doing it that way.
