Also im thinking of purchasing one also but im not sure whether to get ceramic or stainless.

ceramic I heard cracks - Since Im in NYC the weather isnt always the same year round.

Stainless - What I would get but then it turns color after a while.. ( Not nice looking )

i heard the thing about cracking too, but the cracking they said was mainly from people bottoming out on the thing and having it crack around the bolts...as for installation, it was pretty simple...easiest thing i ever installed. all i had to do was reach into my back pocket, pull out ten bucks, hand it to my boy josh, a honda tech, and in 20 minutes the header magically appeared in my engine bay...simple.. i'd go with ceramic...stainless looks good for a while, but it also runs hotter than ceramic coated headers..and i kinda like the ceramic look anyway, not much of a blinger myself...shiny things in the engine bay only soak up more heat...like stainless steel cold air intakes...all they do is soak up all the heat around the engine bay and heat the air back up before it gets to the engine so that kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?

I'd like to see the dyno numbers too. 20hp to the crank maybe, but there is no way that is to the wheels. post up the dyno chart when you get a chance, I'd be intrested in seeing it. what type of dyno did they use?

I know nothing about the machine that they used but PEAK HP difference is about right. Peak is just the largest difference between the stock HP/Tq numbers and the new HP/Tq numbers.

so to the wheels the accord was throwing down 170hp? the reason I seem a little curious is I went to a dyno a couple of months ago with some accord guys in the area. the dyno is 15% off from a dyno jet, and 15% off from hp to the engine. here is the link to the accords I went with including mine.

my car with a CAI, highflow cat, and custom exhaust. 167.31hp to the engine
http://www.ktrperformance.com/galler..._04/jeff_d.htm

driftking's car with Zex, and CAI. 179.4hp to the engine
http://www.ktrperformance.com/galler..._04/nick_g.htm

notoriousB with a Drag turbo kit, and exhaust. 240.37hp to the engine
http://www.ktrperformance.com/galler...04/brian_g.htm

notoriousB is a turbo accord and it throwing down those numbers, that is why I'm a little curious about the results.

What do you mean by 15% off...are you sayin that for instance, that accord with turbo is actually 220whp instead of 184whp?

the dyno we used, was a Dyno Dynamics and it gives a reading 15% off from what a dyno jet dyno reads. and the dyno we used is 30% off from a to the engine hp reading(to the crank). so the turbo accord is around 211whp. the dyno we used has two sets of rollers for each wheel. I believe a dyno jet used two large rollers, and it give a more acurate reading. so because of the extra rollers the accuracy is off by 15%.

bump.

so does your accord throw down an extra 20hp to the wheels, or is it just to the crank? if its to the crank, that makes sense. if its to the wheels, I'd love to see the dyno charts to show the results. I'm just not sure which one you are talking about?
