Camber Kits
I went to the tires shop to get my wheel alignment. They rejected my car because it does not have a front camber kit. I already have the back camber kit. If I add in the front camber kit from ingalls then it would mess up my fender. Anyone have suggestion on this problem. Could they still do the alignment without the front camber kit?
There are now 3 ways to adjust your front camber on a 98-02 Accord. If you use the adjustable bushings ... the end of your control arm will hit the inner fender at about +1.5 degrees adjustment. If you use the adjustable ball joint, you can adjust to +2.5 degrees before the ball joint hits the inner fender. The problem with adjustable ball joints is that they add height ... so when you bottom out the suspension the top nut of the ball joint will hit near your strut cap.
If you have the cash, the best way to do it is with a "skunk2" style adjustable arm ... this allows the adjustment with out the problems described above.
Ingalls just released one!
