not really a fan. i think the OEM look better. OEM with darker housing would be smooth (ie. gunmetal or black).

DIY? if so stick wit regular housings or black ones like ours and it took some time especially wit two ppl.
we also put in silver stars so it increased light output as well...

sylvania silver stars are lightbulbs that are brighter or more light output than stock. actually u do not need a heatgun or use ur oven to seperate/assemble the housings. we just used a hairdryer...
ask me anymore questions, thanks

(i should have posted up a DIY huh?)

wait, i thought that you use leds inside the halos... And if you didnt, it could cause problems or something.... if you could post a guide to how you did it (cause it sounds like you did it differently then the one i read) that would be dope

no no...the silver stars replace the original bulbs in your housings. the led's are for the halos, we also used 9v batteries that way we could still use them when the car is off and not drain the battery, also best to keep car wiring alone also (if under warranty). ill post a DIY if i can get time tonight plus im lazy and it took make 14-16 hrs to complete the whole thing...

The problem with the halos, at least that I've seen is that they die unexpectantly. I've got two friends, one with a 99 Civic EX and one with a 93 Civic Si, both have black housed, dual halo headlights from a company (it's what's stamped on the headlamp) called Sonar.

There's nothing worse than seeing one working halo on the left side, and two working halo's on the right. lol.

I should note, they were all correctly wired -- they even made harnesses, these kids don't f-around, y'know?
