just wondering how often i should clean my tb (with seafoam) and how often i should clean my fuel system w/ a typical fuel additive (like chevron techron or something)...b/c i can feel a kinda rough idle right now

 

yeah me too. I need something to clean my TB cable or TB. ( I dont wanna remove the intake though ) Gas pedal feels a bit tight when pressing down on it. Not as loose as used to be

 

I removed my TB and shot it out with a can of carb and choke cleaner. It was disgusting how much crap was on and around the butterfly. The throttle operates much smoother now.

 

So I guess I would have to take off the Intake and spray some spray into it?
Then what, wipe it clean?

 

I just completely removed mine because I wanted to clean the manifold side also, then blew it out with an air chuck.
You can leave it on and spray the cleaner in until it runs out clear and wipe dry. Your car will run like crap for a min or two until the cleaner burns through.
